Product Description
New York, 1929: a war rages between two rival gangsters, Fat Sam and Dandy Dan. Dan is in possession of a new and deadly weapon, the dreaded "splurge gun" which fires ice cream instead of bullets. As the custard pies fly, Bugsy Malone (Scott Baio), an all-round nice guy, falls for Blousey Brown (Florrie Dugger), a singer at Fat Sam's speakeasy.
His designs on her are disrupted by the seductive songstress Tallulah (Jodie Foster) who wants Bugsy for herself. The combination of slapstick comedy, Paul Williamsí memorable score which features such wonderful songs as 'My Name is Tallulah' and 'You Give A Little Love', a deft story and charming, deadpan performances from a cast of unknowns and future stars won Alan Parker's Bugsy Malone huge critical acclaim and it continues to delight today.
